YESONG KWON_AIR DANCER 2024

예술공간 의식주에서 열린 단체전 《내일은 일종의 몰락》에 출품된 권예송 작가의 작품 〈Air Dancer〉의 키네틱 장치 제작 및 전시 설치를 진행하였습니다. 이 작품은 도시의 산물이 개인의 외부 공간을 점유하는 상황을 조각적으로 표현한 것으로, 인체 감지 센서를 통해 관람자의 움직임에 반응하여 조형물이 팽창하고 수축하도록 설계되었습니다.

RTRX was responsible for the production and installation of the kinetic system for Yesong Kwon’s Air Dancer, presented in the group exhibition 'Tomorrow Is a Kind of Collapse' at The Necessaries. The work sculpturally explores how urban byproducts encroach upon personal exterior space, using a motion sensor that triggers the sculpture to inflate and deflate in response to the viewer’s movements.
